Bend Oregon Education

Bend is served by the Bend-La Pine School District. There are four high schools (Bend, Marshall, Mountain View, and Summit), four middle schools, (Cascade, High Desert, Pilot Butte, and Sky View), 12 elementary schools, and three magnet schools. There are several private schools within the area as well, including Cascades Academy of Central Oregon, Seven Peaks, Waldorf School of Bend, St. Francis of Assisi, Morning Star Christian, and Trinity Lutheran. Central Oregon Community College (COCC) and the OSU-Cascades Campus of Oregon State University provide the community with two- and four-year college degree programs.

Redmond Oregon Education

In one of Oregon's fastest growing areas, the Redmond School District draws it 7,000+ students from over 30,000 residents in the communities of Alfalfa, Crooked River Ranch, Eagle Crest, Redmond, Terrebonne and Tumalo.

With the addition of a new 600-seat elementary (Tom McCall) and 800-seat middle school (Elton Gregory), the Redmond School District began the 2006-07 school year with five K-5 elementary schools; two K-8 community schools, two middle schools, two charter schools, one high school and one alternative high school.
